Tokyo, Japan, 15 November 2017: shecco has announced the launch of a WeChat account, in order to work more closely with Chinese industry.
The platform is China’s most important social media application. It is also the country’s main tool for professional networking, equivalent to LinkedIn in the West.
It is the world’s fastest growing social app, currently ranked fifth largest globally, boasting approximately 93% of those living in Tier 1 cities in China as registered users.
WeChat will serve as the main communication channel connecting shecco’s various global media to the Chinese market.
“shecco has been coming to China and working with Chinese industry for over 10 years,” said shecco CEO Marc Chasserot.
“I am pleased to announce that, this week, we launched our WeChat account to engage even more closely with Chinese industry in their native language. We will be providing regular updates about global developments with natural refrigerants as well as updates about our own projects and activities in China.”

Recent developments in the Chinese market suggest that now is the right time to leverage China’s growing interest in what is happening globally with natural refrigerants and vice versa.
“It is fascinating to witness how quickly the interest in natural refrigerants has risen in China over the last three years,” said shecco’s Asia-Pacific business development manager and managing director for shecco Japan, Jan Dusek.
“We also see many international HVAC&R industry leaders becoming increasingly active in China and willing to supply their latest natural refrigerant-based technologies there.”

The announcement precedes other exciting developments for shecco in China.
On 11-12 April 2018, the very first ATMOsphere event will be held in Beijing. The event directly follows China Refrigeration 2018, the largest refrigeration technology exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region, and will take place at the Sheraton Grand Beijing Dongcheng Hotel.
