Based on the feedback received from the industry over the last few years, shecco has identified the lack of training for natural refrigerants as one of the key barriers to introduction of the technology across different world regions. While a number of organisations already offer training for CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbons, both practical and theoretical, online or offline, there remains a lack of awareness of training availability among different players in the market.
shecco seeks to address this situation through its forthcoming publications. Alongside independent research, the survey aims to investigate the key drivers and future expectations for providers of natural refrigerants training. From the side of training recipients, the survey will examine the elements that organisations are looking for in a natural refrigerants training course, including type of training, topics they are interested in, as well as type of certification they can receive.
The GUIDE Training will also include a GUIDE Training Directory, which will list natural refrigerant training providers per region to aid recipients seeking training in natural refrigerants.
Opportunity to win ATMOsphere pass for survey response
The questionnaire, open to all HVAC&R industry stakeholders, is accessible online now:http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2630657/b15d5270b1ad
Participants of the survey will be entered into a draw for the chance to win a free conference pass to attend eitherATMOsphere Europe, taking place 19-20 April 2016 in Barcelona, Spain, or ATMOsphere America, taking place 16-17 June 2016 in Chicago, Illinois.
ATMOsphere events offer participants the unique opportunity to meet and network with leading HVAC&R industry experts to discuss the latest developments in the field of natural refrigerants.
In addition, companies and organisations that complete the survey and are already providing training on natural refrigerants are eligible to receive a free listing in the aforementioned GUIDE training directories.
About the GUIDE to Natural Refrigerants Training
The results of the survey will be analysed and used to complement our ongoing research for shecco’s two upcoming publications, GUIDE to Natural Refrigerants Training in Europe & GUIDE to Natural Refrigerants Training in North America, which will be released later in 2016. All results will remain anonymous and only aggregated data will be used to outline the current and future situation for training on natural refrigerants.
The GUIDE to Natural Refrigerants Training seeks to be THE reference tool for those looking for guidance on how to select the right training providers, knowledge sources and partners to build their business case around a safe, efficient and compliant use of the refrigerants CO2, NH3 and hydrocarbons.
