“Sustaining our atmosphere” is the new tagline that summarises the new shecco brand. After more than 8 years of existence, first as part of the Norwegian conglomerate Norsk Hydro and now as independent company in Belgium, shecco has gained extensive know-how in the field of CO2 (R744) heating and cooling. The promotion of CO2solutions will still be at the core of shecco. However, the company is now ready to play a similar role in other markets too.

Activities and services
New areas of activity fors shecco will be within the fields of other natural refrigerants (including hydrocarbons and ammonia), carbon trading (within the Montreal and Kyoto frameworks), and next generation vehicles (including electric and hydrogen technology). The key focus will remain on CO2-based refrigeration, air-conditioning and heating solutions.
