We are looking for passionate, creative, and motivated people to join our quickly growing team in Asia Pacific, who will provide support on several key upcoming projects to take place in three major industry hubs — Tokyo, Japan, Bangkok, Thailand and Manila, Philippines.
These projects play an important role in shecco’s global mission and candidates for these roles will regularly engage with high level industry stakeholders and make use of the latest information technology, communication and social media tools to achieve these goals.

Events Coordinator (Tokyo, Japan)
Estimated start date: November 2019
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the planning, organizing and executing of shecco’s events in Asia Pacific such as ATMOsphere conferences and networking events. This position includes event planning and organizational duties while also managing communications and relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
-Carry out logistical planning and preparation before the event (venue research, travel arrangements, external communication and coordination, etc.)
-Manage design coordination for marketing material (flyers, newsletters, banners, etc.)
-Assist in the planning, writing and production of email newsletter campaigns for events
-Support social media campaigns
-Manage on-site support at events including greeting and guiding attendees, organizing catering, coordinating with speakers, set-up and breakdown, etc.
-Have a University degree in management, business, communications, marketing or similar
-Have previous experience in events coordination
-Have excellent command of English (both written and oral), proficiency in Japanese is a plus
-Have the ability to build and maintain close relationships with local and international stakeholders
-Have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
-Be self-motivated, able to prioritize, and work with minimal guidance
-Having a background or strong interest in science, engineering and environmental studies is a plus
-Have experience living or working overseas is a plus
